Parade todayWell, It was the day today for the boise holiday parade. I was going to go be on the Mrs. Idaho Float and I ended up getting super sick with the flu. I was so bummed out! :( My good friend birdeena even made me a dang cute scarf to wear for it and I couldn't even go. So I sat home and watched it on tv. All the gals looked so cute on the float in there santa hats. I can't believe I missed out on it! NO FUN! Well I hope for better luck in the future. I'd better not get sick for anything ever again ARRGH!
goals
So, If any of you read my post from last january, I made a list of goals. One of them is to be a youth motivational speaker. I have a lot to prepare before this will happen but i have the oportunity at the end of December to speak at the Prison here. I am speaking on "Choosing appropriate goals" sort of a new years resolution thing I guess. But I'm so exited because I'm very goal oriented. I'm glad for this, I've always set goals. After all , "What You think about you bring about"

The letter....
So yesterday I sent out a letter to all my friends and family asking for monetary support for the Pageant fees. It was VERY hard for me to do, It made me uncomfortable, and I felt like I was being tacky! I'm not one to ask people for money and It almost makes me feel selfish that I need a little help doing something I want to do. Why is it so hard to do something for ourselves? I know that people dont have a lot of money. But the fact of the matter is, if every person who got the email stuck one dollar in the mail, I'd have $300.00, if they all put $2.00 in the mail I'd have $600. etc. I'm not asking for a lot of money from every one. But a little goes a long way. I'm thankful for everyone who is supporting me, every penny I get is one penny away from my goal, that wont come out of my own pocket! AND THAT ADDS UP FAST!

I'm Mrs. Western Idaho!
It's official now!I am Officially Mrs. Western Idaho! The Thanksgiving parade is on November 29, 2008. I'm so exited. Corey will be at work that day in the morning so I have to find a sitter for the little guys. We will be wearing santa hats on the float how cute is that? I'm so exited!

Mrs. Idaho America 2009 pageant
Well I've really gone and done it now! I've entered myself into the Mrs. Idaho America pageant for 2009. So stay tuned to hear the news on all of that! I've never done a pageant before, I'm scared stupid but I have a lot of reasons why I'm doing it. It's important to me that I succeed at this. Not neccessarily win, but maybe get into the top 5. We will see. I will let you all know when I hear back from them, any day now! YAY!....I know, I might be totally insane..
