Exciting news and pageant date

Another exciting new happening is that Peak Broadcasting, owner of 107.9, 103.3 and 4 other major stations are sponsoring our pageant this year! Amazing! There will be 50 spots each on their 6 stations, a total of 300 commercials for our pageants in Jan and I'm thrilled. They have been willing to do even more beyond that, including hosting our divisions other than the Mrs. at a new venue which would simplify and improve details for both. On that note, To balance the events and work with Peak Performance that weekend we needed to move the Mrs.State Pageant to be held on that Friday. The state pageant will be held that evening at 7 pm, still at the Nampa Civic Center. Can't wait to see you here! {or at least hear you cheering} :)

1950's photo shoot

I only have 3 photo's so far, but these are from the 50's photo shoot on saturday Dec 8th at the Eagle fire station. All the girls were in 50's style swimsuits, it was adorable. I had a 50's dress I'd had made, and the past 3 Mrs. US winners and the current winner all worse cute dresses. When I get more pics I will post them, these pics were taken for a calender so we could sell them for $ for the pageant. I love the gals that I get to associate with in the Mrs. Pageant. They are all so cute, fun and ambitious.

Mrs. Idaho United States KTVB Idaho TV

I am so excited to share with all of you, it has just been announced that the pageant this year will be broadcast on KTVB Feb 9th 2013! Prime time 7-9pm. Each contestant will get a cameo, to talk about her platform. This also means that in the credits our sponsors names will show up. This is wonderful advertising and also wonderful for me personally to get started with my youth motivational speaking. The word will get out in a big way about what I am up to. It truly is my dream to be able to motivate, uplift and inspire the youth of today. I remember well what it was like to be young and the struggles that came along with it. It's vital that we learn to make good choices and habits at a young age. It is easier to prevent and prepare the to repent and repair. Learn young the benefits of choosing to be happy amidst trials, making good choices, being honest and other issues I feel are equally important. This is a huge opportunity and I am so thankful to be doing what I'm doing at this time!

Mrs. Boise Idaho United States

Well I have joined the pageant world once again. It was an amazing experience last time in 2009 with the America pageant and I treasure that experience. I never thought I would do pageant again, but I also believe there is a time and a place for all things. I am now with the United States pageant, this fell into my lap along with a few other events that it just felt like the thing to do. My main focus is Youth motivational speaking. I have spent a little over a year volunteering at the womens jail. What a neat experience it is to be able to offer support ad uplift people who really need it, and want it! I am very close to having my first elementary school appearance {speech} ready. Naturally I have to adapt my topics with the age groups that they apply to. I have been preparing to do youth motivational speaking for some time now and decided to just take the leap. I am planning on using my title to help speed up the process. I would like to share with the youth a few of these topics: Living an honest, positive life, Choosing good friends, Enduring through hard times, and learning from them, How happiness is not a destination, it’s a journey, Goal setting, How our choices and lifestyle can affect the people around us, and our life, both for better and worse. Over all my message is: we are not victims of our past, but victors of our future. I cannot wait to continue my work doing this and I am so happy to share this journey with you all. Thank you for sharing this journey with me ~Tina If you are interested in helping with my cause, you can contact me at tinamarie1999@hotmail.com All donations are greatly appreciated.
